To Michigan and Back!

(The version below is a mix of Spanish and English, so read carefully. :)

Here is a rundown of what I have been up to the last month and a half. It seems crazy to me, but I seem to always fit so much into my time. I often wonder how it is possible that I can even fit this all into my schedule, but it somehow happens.

Aquí en un resumon de lo que hice el ultímo mes y medio. Parece loco a mí, pero siempre todo lo que he hecho, ha quedado en poco tiempo. Yo he pensado ¿Como es posible que puedo hacer todo de eso en mi ocupada agenda, pero pasa.

Bike Trip Fundraiser for the Fudación San Lucas (St. Luke Foundation)

It was a fundraiser where I did not ride, but I went along as support. It was actually really great to support rather than participate.
Este evento fue para recoger fondos para apoyar la fundación San Lucas. Yo fui como apoyo no para montar en bicicleta. En realidad, fue excelente para apoyar en vez de montar y participar.

They had to cross a river.
Ellos tuvieron que cruzar un rio.

There was super rough terrain!
¡El camino fue horible!

I moved into my new house!
Here is my room and brand new bed (double size)!!!
!Me mude a mí casa nueva! ¡Aquí es mí cuarto de cama y la cama doble!

25th Anniversary of AMC
AMC celebrated 25 years of being in existance. This picture is of AMC workers and volunteers.

The Norwegians Returned to Norway
After 3 months of living in Nicaragua, Kaja and Kristine returned to Norway with a new knowledge of what goes on in a third world country.
Después de 3 meses de vivir en Nicaragua, Kaja y Kristine regresaron a Noruega con más conocimiento de que pasa en un país en el tercer mundo.

La Purisima
On December 8 Catholic Nicaraguans celebrated the Day of the Emaculate Conception.
El 8 de diciembre los Catolicos Nicaragüenses celebraron "La Purisima" o el día de la concepción emacula.

MCC Retreat
We had our quarterly retreat for MCC in Matagalpa. Here we are praying for Vanessa who was an intern with MCC for 4 months.
Tuvimos un retiro trimestral para CCM en Matagalpa. En la foto estamos orando por Vanessa, una interna con CCM por 4 meses.

I was Blessed to be able to travel to the Michigan for Christmas and New Years!
Yo estaba bendecida para poder viajar a Michigan para la Navidad y el año nuevo!

I went to my old high school to speak to the Spanish classes about what I do in Nicaragua. Here I am with Señora Essex, the Spanish teacher.

I was able to visit Grand Rapids!

There is a quick update for what I have been up to. I will be writing more in two weeks when it is my official "ONE YEAR" of working with MCC.

Voy a escribir más en dos semanas, cuando es oficialmente un año de trabajar con CCM.
